Empowered In Action
Empowered Nonprofits was tasked to help strategize, plan, and execute a client's 75th anniversary campaign. Using various engagement tools, communication methods, and structured outreach, we maximized dollars and overall connections.
To help the organization build their support system, we created an anniversary planning committee made up of dedicated supporters and long-time donors. It was important when selecting the members of the committee that they bring unique perspectives and help expand the reach of the organization.
We recruited members that span in ages and experiences. They were involved in the decision making of all the engagement opportunities throughout the year and in the campaign prospecting and solicitations. There are so many benefits to creating a committee and here are three reasons -- just to list a few!
1. Generates excitement for the campaign and all of the activities.
2. The committee members feels ownership over the campaign and it results in higher engagement.
3. Creates a stronger connection to the organization.
Empowered worked with each member along the way ensuring they had the tools to be successful, meeting both one-on-one and as a committee.
The committee showed what the power of collaboration and teamwork can accomplish, which led to an extremely successful milestone celebration.
